many funny things happen this week :)
first incident...
for once in my life, i went to join the american math competition but i did expect.... IT WILL BE SO HARD!!! went for an "1 hour " training on thursday. i was suppose to be one hour but in the end the teacher drag it till 2 hours. for amc, we wont be able to use calculators which means everything has to be calculated on paper. we only did a few questions... but for that 2 hours i felt that im BRAIN DRAINED!!! im not the only one , the others felt the same too!!! its so hard.... and we need to memorize formulas too. told ms peh about this and the only thing she said is its a good training :) YA I TOTALLY AGREE!!! everyone should have this math training before As so that we wont rely too much on calculators!!!
second event...
went to meet pearls , steph and jia in orchard on friday to celebrate pearl's birthday. she is so lucky!! she had her birthday on chinese new year's eve :) anyway i was late for 2 hours because of training and of course i end up ordering last because everyone finished their meal . haha the funny thing is that only half an hour later then i decided on what to order. because i kept quiet for so long.... kept thinking on and on on what to eat..... they thought i already ordered my food but in actual fact i HAVENT haha jia and steph bought her a cake while i bought her a present :) sang her a birthday song softly and she blew the candles! and finally she is 18!!! YAY!!! the first one to be 18!!! :D
third event....
only people in my class will know about what happen during gp . from a session of teacher's scoldings to a lecture on education to a debate between adela and him . adela is really really good at debating!!! anyway i still cant believe what he did on that day , its seriously wrong... oh and he told us the seven types of people on the earth and im under the category of "I DO WHAT I LOVE" and "I DONT DO WHAT I DONT LOVE" :D
training still goes on . setting setting setting for the whole day . happy that i got into the team but sometimes i just feel tired... still have lots to work on, jia you to myself! :)
